#techniquethursday - flashback

What do you do when you've got no time to craft... you dream about crafting.  I woke up with ideas in my mind and running late to get ready for work.  Bring on the weekend and some time to play!  I'm hoping it will be the start of a good crafting run on the lead up to Christmas.  In the mean time here's the most recent #techniquethursday posts I've done.  Follow the links for all the tips and tricks.

Layered Ink - for a new way to use your stamp pads.

Using frames to create a focal point on your card.

There's even more ways you can use frames creatively.

And one of my favourite techniques of last month - faux tiles.

Have you got any techniques you'd like to learn?  Leave me a message and I'll try to get some tutorials ready for future #techniquethursday posts.
Happy crafting.

#tooeasytuesday

Much to my dismay I still haven't made it into my craft room. Thankfully MDS lets me get creative online anywhere - even late at night.  Here's something I whipped up tonight to reflect on my day.  Crazy busy.  Crazy productive. Crazy single focused on work. Where everything is great but it seems like you only have time for one thing?  That's my life right now.  I'm hoping there will be a moment to pause and take a breath soon.  And I'm really hoping for a long stint in my craft room!
Happy crafting

I know I say this every time I do a flashback - but I love looking back on some of what I've done.  Sometimes I cringe because of how amateur things look.  Sometimes I smile because I realise how far I've come - and hey we learn from our mistakes.  And sometimes I get inspired all over again and do a bit of a…
