Cheep Talk two-step stamping bonanza

As promised last night... here's a project I made a few weeks ago featuring the set Cheep Talk - currently available at 20% off in our two-step Stampin' Sale.

Ok so there are a few other stamps I've used from other steps - but don't you just love the front of this fold out scallop card focussed on the Cheep Talk set?!?

The two little birds that come with this set are so cute.  And so versatile. I've made cards for kids, and couples card (two birds facing each other... I'll show you next week), flower backgrounds, vine/leaf prints and so much more.  I just love that one set can give you so much versatility.

If you like this set and want to get it at it's reduced price of 20% off you have just 1 more day to get your order in.  I'll be placing my final order for sale items on Saturday night at 9pm so let me know if you want anything from this list.

Thanks for stopping by - and have a fantastic weekend.

Super dooper demo offer ends soon....

July 31 is just around the corner and that means the special offer to join Stampin' Up! for only $259 ends in just 2 days. It's a great time to join with over $65 saved in the Starter Kit.  For more details see my blog post HERE.

Time is also ticking away on the fabulous Two-Step Stampin' promotion which also ends on the 31st.  There are 8 fabulous sets available with 20% off!  For a full list of sale items click HERE.

Here's a few photos of some cards I've made using one of the sets on sale - Cheep Talk.  It's a fantastic set - incredibly cute and very versatile.  I'll be back tomorrow to show you some more cards made using this set to tempt you to join me in my addiction ;-)

Thanks so much

Can you believe I'm still showcasing Thank-you cards that I made for the charity auction winners?!?!  I've decided to speed things up a little this morning and show 2.  Hope you like your double dose.  They both use the same stamps and colour scheme - which I love - as it just shows (in a small way) how versatile 1 stamp set can be.

I used Cheep Talk as the featured set in both of these cards.  I've had a slight obsession with birds ever since sale-a-bration this year featured a set with a bird.  If you love this stamp set now is the perfect time to get your hands on it.  Until July 31 Stampin' Up! is selling selected two-step stamp sets at 20% off - yay!  I LOVE a good sale ;-)

Flying through the week

Do you ever feel like the 2nd half of the year speeds up?  I can't believe how quickly each day and week is just flying by.  Before you know it we're going to be at Christmas, so I better get a move on and start blogging more regularly or you're still going to be looking at this same batch of cards!

Here's a thank you card I needed to make as part of a set that someone won in our recent charity auction.    This was a really simple card to make.  Let's face it Stampin' Up! make every card easy as everything coordinates so well!  I kept the colour combo very simple - pinks and browns - and used just the one stamp set - Flight of the Butterfly - and a few punches. Hope you like it.

I also used a two-step stamping technique on the butterfly to give it a two colour scheme.  If you love two-step stamping then July is a great month for you as Stampin' Up! is currently offering 20% off many of it's 2-step stamps.  To check out a list of what's on sale click…

Buttons galore

Happy Monday!  Hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  Mine was filled with sunshine, good food, good wine, friends, champagne and even some crafting time - woot!

The card I'm going to show you isn't from my weekend's efforts.  I still haven't taken photos of them yet!  It's one of the many cards I had to make a week or so ago for the charity auction winners.  I had to make 15 individual cards so I did have to break out lots of different colours.  This card reminds me a little of Bella Rose phase because it incorporates my favourite colour combos - Ruby Red, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip - yummmm!  I also added some extra sparkle using Crystal Effects - got to love it.  (I know, I know I keep raving about it. Seriously though if you've not used it - you should!)

I used the buttons die (from the Autumn/Winter mini) in my Big Shot for the first time on this card.  I love this die.  It means you never have to go searching for a coordinating button again - you just gr…

Birthday bonanza

Short and sweet post today as I'm super busy :-)

This is the first of 10+ birthday cards you'll see from me in the next few weeks.  I wanted to do something with cupcakes because... well who doesn't love a cupcake!?!

This was a really simple and super quick card to make.  I like the repetition of the cupcakes - easy but striking.  And a little crystal effects makes them really pop out.  (Sorry the photos don't do it justice).
I'm frantically preparing for my classes this week.  I still have places available tomorrow night and Saturday so let me know if you can make it.

Thank you

Happy Monday.
I would like to start this week thanking you all for your patience as I haven't posted much the last few months - forgive me!  Life has been enjoyably hectic and I've had very little time to craft.  That hasn't changed much yet, but I did have the opportunity on Saturday to get creative.
A few weeks ago we had a charity auction at work to raise money for 3 different local charities.  As part of the auction we were encouraged to donate goods or services and people could bid on them throughout the week.  It was a great success and we raised over $10,000.  For my part (in addition to bidding on some awesome services from my team mates) I auctioned a 10 pack of cards (theme of winner's choice) and a 5 pack of cards (theme of winners choice).  They both sold for a lot more that I could have imagined, and Saturday was my day to get crafting and come up with 15 cards!
I'm not going to show them all to you today... but I do have 15 cards now to blog about.  Th…

Purple and green daze...

Ok so the title stretches the truth just a little, it's more like a Rich Razzleberry and Kiwi Kiss daze.  I loved the colour combo I made last week so much that I had to repeat it.

Here are 4 of my efforts... hope you're ready for lots of photos!

I love the simplicity of these cards.  Simple clean lines, striking colours, repetition of stamps & shapes made them simple to make, but striking to look at.  I'm completely in love with Crystal Effects at the moment too.  It's so easy to use, but takes simple shapes & stamps to a whole new level.
Do you love the tiny sentiments I've used in these stamps?  At convention a few months ago I won the Tiny Tags stamp set from the current mini.  I hadn't fallen in love with it when I first saw it, but who doesn't love a free stamp set.  Needless to say I'm completely hooked on it now.  I love the simple little phrases that it has (even though I talk a lot I like simple words on cards), and even better I love th…
