Do you have a friend that is far away, but it's the kind of friendship that when you do get together it's like you've never been apart? I'm really blessed to have a lot of wonderful friends in my life like that. They are scattered around the world - but the connection is truly timeless. Normally we wouldn't connect all that often but I'm finding this season is giving us more opportunity and I have to say I like it.
This little card is using all my current favourites - Timeless Tropical Stamps, Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper, Coastal Weave embossing folder and Braided Burlap embellishments. The buttons are retired but I love how they add a bit of a rustic feel to this card. Oh and I heat embossed the stamped sentiment using copper embossing powder.
I have to say I'm enjoying making and sending and receiving cards in this season. It's such an uplifting thing to do to tell someone how much they mean to you - especially when it's not their birthday or other special occasion - it's just because. Let's put some more of that activity out into the world. It feels good to make others feel loved an appreciated.
