Here's a little something I made to brighten up a friends day. Nothing better than opening a surprise note in the mail telling you how awesome you are! (Ok my joy comes in the creating and sending... but I'm hoping it sparked joy in the receiver.)
I heat embossed the flower and sentiment with copper embossing powder and versamark ink. I love embossing as it's really easy to do, looks amazing and adds an additional textural element to the card. If you don't know what head embossing is you can read about it in one of my tutorials here.
I used the Timeless Tropical bundle for the stamps and die cutting on this card as well as the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper. This combo is definitely a firm favourite with me right now. I aslo added some additional texture by embossing some card with the Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder. If you don't have a die cutting and embossing machine I highly recommend adding it to your wish list. I've had mine for years and use it every single time I craft. Here's how easy it is to emboss card stock. The only other texture on this card is the braided burlap. Another favourite of mine right now as it ties in so well with the stamps and paper.
