Good friends can be hard to come by. The best friends are those that are fast friends, and life long friends, and friends who stick with you through thick and thin. You know the kind. You click instantly on meeting and you find yourself sharing deeply. You live on other sides of the world, and can't meet face to face often, but when you do it's like no time has passed at all. The ones who drop off care packages when you are sick, or random flowers for no reason. They are the ones to cherish. The best kind of all.
I made this simple card to celebrate friends. A stamped a flower from the Oh So Eclectic Stamp set across the page in black ink and used blender pens to colour in the flowers. You could also use ink and a aqua painter.
I love a repeated image. It a really effective way to create a card that is both striking and simple at the same time. Here's a close up of my colouring. I'm not the best at this, but there is something therapeutic about staying in between the lines.
