#tooeasytuesday

Today's #tooeasytuesday card really was too easy to make.  It only involved 2 stamped images, some embossing powder and 3 pieces of card.  Really simply hey?!?  I simply used VersaMark ink to stamp the Swallowtail image onto Lucky Limonade card.  I used silver embossing power & my heat gun to get the beautiful shimmery effect of heat embossing.  I layered that on a piece of Soft Suede card, and then onto a Crumb Cake base.  The sentiment I stamped came from the Loving Thoughts stamp set.

This is a super easy card to make because the main image is so large and detailed you don't need to add much to it.  You could easily vary it by using different colours of card or embossing powder or both.  It's the sort of card that is great to make if you have a large number to send to people for invites or thank you cards.  I only just bought the Swallowtail stamp recently because I'd seen some lovely cards popping up all over the place.  This was the first time I've used it and I'm looking forward to some more time in the craft room to see what else I can come up with.

If you've been inspired by this card I'd love to see what you've made.  Add a comment with a link to a photo so I can see what you've been up to in your craft room.

Happy crafting.

Sally
