For me when I think about flowers I think about spring and blossoms starting to bloom on the streets around me. I don't often think about art galleries but the name of this stamp set Art Gallery got me thinking about when I could travel and the types of art that I'm drawn to and Monet's paintings are certainly a stand out.
For this card I used the Art Gallery Stamp set which is a two-step stamp set and for some of the second steps used heat and stick powder with gilded leafing to give it both a textural feel and some bling.
It takes a bit more time to do the gilding but it's a very different effect to heat embossing and works really well when there is a large amount of stamped area to guild. It's almost perfect for two-step stamping to give it a bit of a lift.
