Merry Christmas

As 2020 draws to a close it's time to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. For some Christmas will be a time of joy with family and loved ones, for others a much more solitary occasion. For me it will be a Christmas spent finding joy in the small moments as I'm half way through 14 days isolation due to exposure to someone with a positive COVID test. That means isolation from family. Staying indoors. Separating from my husband in the same household. I'm not glum though. I'm choosing to spend the time reading, reflecting and being still. Something I rarely do. I did want to share with you a few cards I made for Christmas this year. I didn't do too many - but I did enjoy making these.

I used lots of different things - some retired bits and bobs for the little extras - but mainly the following items:
I largely kept away from traditional colour schemes of red and green, except for one card as I wanted to do something a little different. I'm also going to do something different this year and make some new cards when I'm out of ISO that are about joy and hope for 2021 to send to people instead of Christmas cards. We all need a little hope to brighten our day in the new year.

Where ever you are and whatever you are doing this Christmas season I wish you joy, health and hope.

Happy crafting.

Sally
