A little lace

 I'm loving making my own background paper. Sometimes you want to use a specific colour combo and you just don't have Designer Series Paper that meets that requirement. The great thing about having a stamp set is that you can use multiple stamps from the set to make your own background - which is exactly what I did here with the A Little Lace stamp set. 

I used the retired Coastal Weave embossing folder to add some dimension to a vertical strip but you could use any folder. 

A few metallic pearls and some ribbon and this card was complete. It's a different colour palate than what I've been using recently but sometimes you need to break out of your comfort zone.
