May your birthday be memorable

Making new memories this season as everything changes with physical distancing for COVID-19. We've had a friend give birth and can't visit mum & bub. Birthdays we've not been able to celebrate together. Weeks of dining over zoom calls with friends vs at our local restaurant. It's certainly a different season. In the midst of this I'm reminded how fortunate we are to be able to physical distance and keep our loved ones safe. It's also an opportunity to make memories in new ways. I'm hoping the depth of relationship and connection built during this time will be stronger and more powerful to take forward when we are able to reconnect and hug it out face to face.

This birthday card was another one using all my current favourites - Timeless Tropical bundle for stamps and die cut flowers, Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper, Coastal Weave for the embossed background and Braided Burlap. I also had some retired wood buttons which I added for a little twist. I heat embossed the flowers and sentiment in copper powder but really haven't quite captured how good it looks in the photo.

I'm loving how this turned out. And I'm loving how we are having to get more creative to create new memories at this time. It really shows where our hearts are at to create special moments for people in new ways that we wouldn't have done before.

I hope you're happy, healthy and building new memories too.

Happy crafting.

Sally
