Cheers to a New Year

Happy New Year! And yes I know it's already March - better late than never right? I don't know about y'all but this year started pretty rough for us. After dealing with some family health issues (aging is never easy) we decided to take off for a week to try and rejuvenate and prepare ourselves mentally and physically for the busy year we know 2018 is going to be. Sure enough the first quarter of year has been big - good - but big. It's when things are crazy like this that I think it's even more important to be kind to yourself, and find something in the every day to give you an opportunity to refresh your body and mind. For me that's been yoga - every day so far this year - here's hoping I make it every day all year... and craft. There's something so good for the brain when you get creative. It really does help you to thrive not just survive!

Here's a little card I made for the new year. I wanted to make some fun cards to give to people at the end of 2017 to tell them what they meant to me, and to pour out some wishes for them for the coming year. I used an embossing folder for the background and then my big shot to cut out the circles. A simple stamp and some layers - and hey presto - a beautiful card to use as a backdrop for the words to my friends.

If you're keen to make something similar now is a great time to shop as it's sale-a-bration. That means for every $90 you spend you are eligible to choose from some great freebies. YASSSS! Love me a freebie.  Only until the end of March though - so don't miss out You can shop the supplies for this card online in my store or pick your favourite goodies from your wish list to make your own.

Happy crafting.

Sally
