I finally got some time in my craft room over the weekend. It was only brief - about 2 hours but I did get some craft in. It's funny when you come back to a hobby after a long break. For me I was kind of unsure and a little nervous about what I was going to do. It took me a little while to find my inspiration and to just dive in. But now that I have I'm looking forward to finding a full day in my schedule so I can spend it all in the craft room.
Here's the first card I made. It's simple. It's easy. I used the emboss resist technique for the bicycles at the base of the card. And then some embossing with powder and a heat gun for the sentiment.
I'm not 100% happy with this card so I might have to do a do-over this weekend and see if I can really capture the idea I had in my mind.
