It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas every where I go. The lights are up in the streets around my house, carols are playing in the shops, and everyone seems to be in a mild panic trying to get everything done before the big day. Thankfully I've been making cards for weeks now so I'm almost up to speed... except for the Christmas baking I need to do. (Fingers crossed I can get on to that tonight).
Here's another Christmas card I made recently. Still on my vintage patchwork theme from making my bunting cards, I decided to use the same punch (Petite Pennants Builder) and punch out some contrasting Designer Series Paper to make a tree. The DSP is double sided and came in a pack so it was already colour coordinated (yay) and all I had to do was assemble it. I added some Dazzling Diamonds and Crystal Effects to the star at the top to give it some glitz - but it's hard to see in the photo.
I think I'll have to try and see if I can make a paper quilted star too. Must run. It's time to start Christmas baking so I have something other than just cards to give out.
Happy crafting.
Sally
