Flower power

Well it seems I couldn't stay away from my 'rule of three' for very long.  I really do love the striking simplicity of images repeated on a card.  Here's my latest card.  This is a little on the larger side to accommodate the flower stamp & punches without too much overlap.

Super simple to do but quite striking.  I added some buttons, twine, and ribbon to give it a bit of extra texture and depth.  And of course I couldn't help but use my favourite product of the moment.... crystal effects.  This has to be one of my favourite products as you can use it in so many ways an on anything.  It's a very strong glue for 3D projects, it's great to make paper punched products look like professional embellishments, it's fantastic for a base for adding glitter, and it adds gloss to any stamped image.  Better yet it's only $11.95 a bottle and lasts forever (or at least it feels like it).  Anyway I'm obsessed with using it at the moment.  I think almost everyone of the cards I made last weekend feature it in some way.

Like this card?  If you've stumbled across my blog and want to learn how to make cards, or are an experienced card maker wanting to get together with other paper crafters to make some cards why not come to one of my classes? My next 2 classes are stamp-a-stacks and are coming up soon.  Make and take 8 cards for $25 (all  materials and refreshments included - did someone say cupcakes?)  The next dates are Saturday 31 March, and Saturday 21 April - 9.30am - 11.30am.  Email me at info@sallycancraft.com to reserve your place at the table.

Alternatively if you just want to get your hands on this card you can head on over to my store at www.madeit.com.au/SallyCanCraft to purchase it.

Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Crafting.
