It's great when you get on a roll. You know what I mean? Those times when you're just so productive that it seems like no task is too difficult, no mountain is too high too climb, and life is just rainbows and unicorns. It was like that for me with my crafting recently. Not that I did anything super complicated. Nor did I do anything super creative. I just found my mojo and was in the zone - pumping out card after card in my series 'rule of three'.
Ok so maybe the rule of three is completely made up. It did, however, provide me with a great opportunity to simplify my style and get creative with some basic elements. As all good things do though, this run came to an end. After being so quick and simple I couldn't help reverting to type and adding more layers and embellishments.

To the layers I added lace. To the lace I added DSP. To the DSP I added sponging. And before long I had a card very different from my earlier version from a few weeks ago. It's not that I don't like this card. I do. It's closer to my usual style with more layers and textures. I do think it lacks the simplicity and striking nature of my recent cards, but I guess I'm now on to my next style.
Happy crafting.
