Wrap up of the weekend

On Sunday I held my first ever open house - Champagne, Cupcakes and Craft. The lovely ladies who came over were motivated for different reasons - largely the champagne I expect ;-) We had a lovely time doing make-and-takes, while my wonderful hubby refilled our champagne glasses and kept giving us cupcakes. (He's a keeper!!)

Today I wanted to share the make-and-takes with you. We made these two cards. I wanted to keep them simple as some of the ladies attending had never made cards or done any sort of craft before. Of course they were naturals at it and we already customising their cards from their first stamp!

We used some of my favourite things - the Butterfly Prints stamp set, the Butterfly punch and of course Bella Rose papers :-) I love coordinating stamps and punches. They make it so easy to make projects - especially if you're short of time - and they look amazing. The butterfly punch has become one of my favourites as I've been able to use it on so many projects and to make gorgeous embellishments for scrapbooking. The Butterfly punch and stamp set are both part of the Summer Mini Catalogue (see my link of the right) which disappears on March 31. For those of you who love it as much as I do, I've put together a little package so you can purchase both of them with a bundle of other goodies and earn a FREE stamp set during sale-a-bration.

Butterfly punch
Bella Rose designer paper
24 sheets of A4 card stock in a colour of your choice (I used 2 - Pink Pirouette & Chocolate Chip)

This will give you almost everything you need to make the cards above and a whole lot more. You can add the Wide Oval punch for an extra $30.95 and then you'll have everything you'll need to get started.
