Birthday bonanza

I don't know about you, but making cards for guys is hard for me.  I tend to gravitate towards floral stamp sets or things that I think are fun, but maybe not very gender neutral (although I completely believe in buying flowers for guys).  As much as I'm ok with flowers or balloons on cards for guys for their birthdays, sometimes you just want something a little more funky or sophisticated. I think that's why I'm loving the Paisleys & Posies Photopolymer Stamp Set as it's so versatile.

For this card I kept it very simple - Copper foil, Night of Navy and Whisper White.  I actually love these 3 colours together.  It's a very classic combo and something that lends itself to being a card for anyone of any age.

I am also completely addicted to the copper embossing powder right now.  Confession time... I have a thing for copper in my house as I have a giant copper pendant lamp in my dining room table, copper pots, copper lamps, copper cushions... well you get the picture.  I'm a little copper obsessed and I'm so happy I can stamp with copper now.  Hopefully it's not something I'll get over anytime soon as I really like it :-)

Happy crafting.
