#techniquethursday - thinlits

I love a product that makes me look good.  You know those things that look really hard and tricky to make, but it turns out are really simple if you have the right product?  Thinlits flip card dies are just like that and I want to show you how I made this card in under 5 minutes.

Using my magnetic big shot platform I sandwiched together the circle card thinlit with whisper white card stock and the cutting pads.

After running it through the big shot I had a card base that looked like this.

I then cut out another card out of the contrasting colour Summer Startfruit and further cut this down to allow it to sit inside the whisper white base.  Before attaching this to my base card I ran it through the big shot again to emboss it with the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing folder.

I then cut out a few more embellishments using the Circle Card thinlits with my big shot and glued it all together.  No stamping.  No fiddling.  No mess.  Super easy and it looks really cool.

I’m really keen to figure out some ways to expand my use of this thin lit.  If you have any suggestions or ideas please leave a comment below.  I'd love to hear from you.
