Year in review - what you loved

I had a little time to take stock of 2013 and I decided to investigate the posts you liked best.  If I knew what your top 10 were then I could start incorporating more of that into my 2014 posts - at least I'll try.  So here it is - the top 10 from 2013.

Number 1 - Layered sponging.  Seems like you really loved my technique posts - especially this one.

I did go a little sponging crazy this year - and there were at least 3 #techniquethursday posts on different ways of sponging.

Number 2 - Too Easy Tuesday - although this doesn't look that easy I assure you it was.

I remember when I started making this card I wasn't quite sure how it was going to end up.  It's quite different from my normal style - very cottagey (if that's even a thing).

Number 3 - another technique class - Repetition.

Possibly one of my favourite techniques ever.  So simple yet so effective.

Number 4 - Patchwork technique.  A modern paper art take on quilting.

Number 5 - Cupcake toppers.  The gift of sweetness.

I wasn't at all sad that I had to make cupcakes just for the photos in this post.  "had to" ;-)

Number 6 - Faux Tiles technique.

This technique also uses sponging but in a way that creates a whole new effect.  Probably one of my personal favourites of the year as its a really cool technique.

Number 7 - Technique Thursday Flashback

A quick wrap up a few #techniquethursday posts.

Number 8 - Too Easy Tuesday - Clean & Simple Stamping Challenge

I joined a couple of challenges last year.  I really enjoyed it so it's on my list of things to do more of in 2014.

Number 9 - Emboss Resist. Another #techniquethursday post

And last but not least - Number 10 - a #tooeasytuesday post with a lot of heart.

And that my friends is a wrap.

Looking back it's easy to see that my most popular post are usually technique posts - so I'll definitely try and keep those up this year.  I hope you've enjoyed my little flashback.

Thanks for stopping by - and as always - happy crafting.
