A chance to embellish

In keeping with my challenge to do something different, I want to show you something other than a card this morning. This project was made for a good friend of mine who's just started scrap booking. I wanted to give her a little gift of embellishments to help her along with her first scrapbook. Instead of heading out to the shops to buy a whole lot of embellishments that she may never use because they don't go with her theme, I decided to make them all myself.

Stamping is a great tool like that. You can make fantastic gifts for your friends (more than just cards) if you just think outside the box. This little box of embellishments contains everything she needs to add some sparkle to her pages, and better yet - matches the colours she's going to use exactly. Even better, they can be used on a range of projects other than scrap booking - card making, journalling etc... the list is endless really. All she needs to do is apply some glue or dimensionals to the back of each embellishment and embellish away.

On a different note - I have a few places left in my Stamp-A-Stack class this Saturday morning. Let me know if your interested in coming along. For $20 you'll make and take home 8 cards, eat cupcakes and generally have a lot of fun (cost includes all materials and refreshments). Call me on 0412 631 658 or email info@sallycancraft.com to secure your seat at my crafting table.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a fantastic day.

  4. Thanks Leonie. It's fun to do a little gift for someone else. And so easy with the matching punches and stamp sets.
