Handbag madness

I haven't used my cuttlebug for ages. It's a wonderful machine for both die cutting & embossing. And it's incredibly quick when you're running short of time. I wanted to come up with a project only using this machine - doing both die cuts & embossing.

I wanted to make a gift for a friend of mine at work who has been really supportive of my papercraft obsession. At her recent wedding she used a pink and green theme on all the stationary and I wanted to use colours close to that to give her a little gift to say thank for being such an amazing encouragement to me. So here's what I came up with. A variation of the handbag theme. This one opens at the top and allows you to slide in a few cards and envelopes. All the embellishments (apart from the raffia and buttons) were die cuts made with the cuttlebug machine. Each piece was also embossed using the machine.

You can see the embossing much better on this image.

I also used the cuttlebug to quickly emboss each card

What do you think?
